TONY SETON has
written, produced, directed, and reported in live and tape
broadcasts for radio and television, both commercial and public,
network and local, winning a number of national awards. He has also
conducted over a thousand interviews, published five books
including "Don't Mess with the Press.." and "The Quality
Interview.." and written thousands of essays. Tony is an
adjunct professor on media at the Monterey Institute of
International Studies in Monterey.

STEPHEN PIZZO
began his journalism career at 39 when he and a partner
purchased a weekly newspaper in Northern California. After
selling the paper in 1988 he went on to co-author the award
winning, New York Times best selling non-fiction book on the
savings and loan scandal, "Inside Job: The Looting of
America's Savings and Loans." He went on from there work as a

ANNABEL LUND
has been a journalist for more than 30 years, working in
radio, television, and print news media. She built a public
radio station in Alaska, working every aspect from board
operator to board of directors. She produced and hosted
morning and evening radio and television programs. During
the height of the unrest, she started a Western-styled youth
radio station in the Balkans, She also provided interviews
for BBC World News. Annabel’s considerable print experience
includes reporting and writing for daily newspapers and
magazines and the publication of a half-dozen books. |

PETER Y. SUSSMAN
spent almost 30 years as an editor at the San Francisco
Chronicle. Since leaving the paper, he has worked as an
independent journalist and author. He is the recipient of
numerous journalism awards, many of them for his First
Amendment advocacy for news media access to prisoners. He
has also been active within the profession on issues of
journalism diversity and ethics and was one of the
co-authors of the Society of Professional Journalists' Code
of Ethics, which is widely used in newsrooms and taught in

ALISSANDRA DRAMOV
has worked as a news producer,
reporter, anchor, and writer at a number of stations
throughout the West and Midwest. She has reported live on
the El Niño storms, John Denver’s plane crash off the
Pacific Grove coast, and President Bush’s unscheduled
arrival at Offutt Air Force Base, outside of Omaha, Nebraska
on September 11th, 2001. In addition to breaking news and
general reporting, Alissandra has covered local and state
elections, as well as business, legal, and feature news
stories. She is
currently writing a book about Carmel-by-the-Sea’s early
history and Bohemian culture. |

Walter Brasch,
Ph.D., is professor of
journalism at Bloomsburg University, syndicated social
issues columnist, and author of 17 books. His latest is
"Sinking the Ship of State: The Presidency of George W. Bush."
Dr. Brasch is president of the Pennsylvania Press Club; the
recipient of several scrapbooks' worth of state, regional,
and national journalism awards (none of which allowed him to
retire--or even have a weekend retreat); the winner of the
Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Service Award, and the
only two-time winner of the Deans' Salute to Excellence at
Bloomsburg University.

PEte BREWTON has 15 years of newspaper
reporting and five practicing law in the Houston area.
He is the author of a book on the savings and loan
scandal, "The Mafia, CIA and George Bush" as well as "Lone
Star Law," a novel set on the South Plains.''
Currently he teaches reporting, advanced
reporting, and mass communications law at Texas Tech. He is
also spending a great deal of time writing books and is
